Role Purpose:

The Insurer Development Executive will provide support to the Commercial Director in managing the day to day relationships with our Insurer Panel

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing support to Commercial Director
  • Prepare packs for monthly review meetings
  • Attend insurer meetings when required
  • Support on insurer development projects
  • Daily checks on each insurer to ensure schemes are quoting and priced correctly
  • Manage audit process for each insurer
  • Manage Thatcham with Referrals team
  • Meet Referrals team weekly to discuss conversion, quotability, rates and provide feedback to Commercial Director
  • Ensure insurer policy wordings are up to date on policy systems and software houses
  • Ensure Product Governance is accurate and up to date
  • Manage Covernotes
  • Manage day to day Pivotal requirements
  • Looking after monthly bordereaux
  • Looking after enquiries from Pivotal with Insurer
  • Provide monthly MI on book performance
  • Attend monthly meetings with Pivotal with Commercial Director
  • Manage day to day Nevos requirements
  • Ensure scheme is functioning correctly
  • Looking after any enquiries from Nevos with Insurer
  • Provide monthly MI on book performance
  • Attend monthly meetings with Nevos and Commercial Director
  • Ensure insurer rate changes are implemented for each scheme

Role Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Motor Insurance - sales, underwriting or customer service
  • Insurance exams or willingness to progress
  • Self-motivation and drive to ensure insurer products are delivered effectively
  • An ability to converse and hold relationships with insurance companies
  • An understanding of software house functionality – Insurer rates, covers etc
  • An understanding of all functions within the call centre and how they relate – customer services, sales and referral team’s and an ability to hold a relationship with all
  • An understanding of Covernotes, Pivotal and Nevos schemes
  • An understanding of Underwriting rules and how they are applied to each scheme
  • An ability to prepare MI and data packs
  • Knowledge of Microsoft programmes and Power BI preferable
